Christian Rural Concern

Christian Rural Concern has run ecumenical courses on rural issues since 1986. The courses have been developed, based on the experience gained and on the materials written for earlier courses. We start a new course in September 2003, with material revised in co-operation with the John Ray Initiative (JRI).

CRuC holds conferences from time to time on rural issues to which all are welcome.

Membership of CRuC is open to all Christians with a concern for the rural church, rural communities and the environment. The subscription is currently £5 a year. A journal, Countrywide Care, is published twice a year and is free to all students, tutors and members of Christian Rural Concern. You can read extracts from earlier issues on this site.
